Alistair Cooper MW
70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 5% Mourvèdre, 5% Carignan. No oak.
Tasted blind. Attractive nose with floral notes, violet and cocoa. Fine tannins mark the palate, really well judged and giving precision and structure. Ripe dark fruits support the tannins and give a juicy, compact, complex finish. 16.5 points
