Nicolas Greinacher
Blending 40% Syrah with the remainder equally split between Grenache and Mourvedre, the medium-bodied 2023 Cotes du Rhone Coudoulet de Beaucastel is round and silky. Black fruited and spicy, it is tailored around smooth tannins and packs spot-on balance. A savory finish of good length rounds things off. This is shaping up to be delicious, potentially rivaling the complex 2022. 89-91 points
