The Cabernet was planted in the mid 1990s. Usually 30% Malbec. No new oak.
Outrageously sumptuous and exuberant. So shiny and luscious I`m not sure if I want to put it on a leash or tell it to get a room. Almost smoky, but then I realise it’s herb oils. A little bit of dill seed, basil leaf. But the fruit, oh the fruit. Black raspberries. Intensely raspberry. Leaving a vapour trail of raspberry leaf on the finish… 17 points
